  Honestly couldn’t tell the difference between the microwaved burrito or the microwaved tamale. Tried the chimichanga hoping it would be better and it was just the same thing with sauce and cheese on top that comes off on a single layer, not even fried. Everything was just bland. SO disappointed especially after reading the reviews. I don’t normally review restaurants but this was just so bland. Service was great and the people nice, but should have been tipped off on the quality when they said our order would be ready in 10 min..

  Quick (sit down), unpretentious and good service. The food (I lived in Guadalajara for 10 years) is generally authentic (stay away from the mole; it's store-bought). Enjoy a cold Mexican beer, great salsa (& chips) I recommend this restaurant.

  Here and Enrique's in Kuna are great places to come for great Mexican food. Wanna try their Tamales here.

  I grew up with Southwest cuisine almost every night. Since moving to Boise 5 years ago i haven't found a place that has impressed me. This place absolutely did. If you like Mexican and can't find a place that tastes authentic try amigos you won't be disappointed!

  I'd driven past hundreds of times but when it was recommended to me I couldn't think of where it was; on Cinco de Mayo the chain restaurant just down the road had a full parking lot but this place was almost empty. It's worth going to! I really enjoyed the food, the server was very friendly and helpful, and the place was very welcoming, the way you expect from a smaller, locally owned place.
